Training Centre: Dublin, Ireland
"I trained at Senior College Dun Laoghaire in 2005. I started my career at the prestigious 5 Star Ritz Carlton Powerscourt. My first role as spa therapist consisted of a lot of training! It was this that led me to my true passion - "to train". I progressed as an in-house trainer after 4.5 years and soon after decided this is the path I wanted to take. I completed my teaching qualifications at the Galligan School of Beauty in 2011. Following this, I became a Beauty Therapy Lecturer at The London School Of Beauty and Make-Up. Here I tutored CIBTAC level 2/level 3 beauty therapy groups. I soon progressed as medi spa lecturer, teaching, mentoring and assessing in laser and IPL. This is where I fell in love with the results side of aesthetic treatments. In 2013 I took the chance at advancing my skill set as a business manager for Bare Minerals. I love the fact that this industry has so much opportunity and versatility. Now at the iiaa, I am in a role I could only have dreamt about! I am given the opportunity to train therapists to a very high standard using the best brands in both skin and make-up."
What inspires me to train?
"I am truly passionate about all aspects of the beauty industry. However, training allows me to give therapists an educated solution to their clients skin concerns. This is what I aspire to achieve... Results!"
What is your desert island product?
"There are so many I would need, especially RAD SPF 15... But it would have to be Skin Omegas+. They are life changing for dry skin, along with Tri BioBotanical Revival Masque (I am obsessed!). It is the ultimate face lifting, plumping, hydrating, radiance boosting masque! Finally to finish, Dream Tint® Tinted Moisturiser. It has the SPF and moisturising factor along with the natural finish I love."
