National Small Salon of the Year award
Since their opening in 2014, iiaa stockist The Beauty Lounge in Salcombe, Devon, has built up a loyal local client base. Now owner Zoe Greenwood and her therapist Emily Inch are celebrating after being named ‘Small Salon of the Year’ at the national BABTAC (British Association of Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology) Awards, which recognise and reward excellence within the industry.
Zoe commented: “I’m overwhelmed that The Beauty Lounge has won this award after only being open for a year. I'm a bit of self confessed perfectionist, and both myself and my therapist have a very good work ethic which has made it easier to achieve what I honestly thought was a dream. We both genuinely love what we get to do for a living and I think that always shows. I know I have sourced the best brands out there and I don't think I could have done it without the iiaa and my other wonderful suppliers.”
Emma Roberts from BABTAC added that this was one of the toughest categories in which to choose a winner: “The Beauty Lounge Salcombe showed such passion and professionalism it was clear they were the worthy winners. Emily gave an excellent treatment and the salon is a tranquil sanctuary.”
